Champions of power. Beautiful melodies and dynamic rhythms, performed by a powerful and melodic singer. Like Stratovarius, but perhaps they offer (or have offered) something more. Sammet is a genius in composition and has demonstrated this especially in the Avantasia project.

Edguy

Edguy are a German power metal band from Fulda, formed in 1992 and led by vocalist-songwriter Tobias Sammet. Known for big choruses, humor, and shifting from speedy power metal to hooky hard rock, they became a fixture of European metal with albums like Vain Glory Opera, Mandrake, Hellfire Club, and Rocket Ride.
