Linkin Park

In my opinion, they deserve recognition for this, and that’s why I give them 4 stars: for introducing rock and that slightly more refined part of music to many 12-year-olds back then, including myself, of course. If right now in my stereo Jimmy Page is playing and before that it was James Brown, it’s largely thanks to Linkin Park. Then, they actually kind of lost their way...

American rock band formed in Agoura Hills, California. Core members include Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson, Rob Bourdon, Joe Hahn and Dave "Phoenix" Farrell; Chester Bennington was the band's lead vocalist until his death on July 20, 2017. Known for blending rock, hip-hop and electronic elements across major releases such as Hybrid Theory and Meteora.
