The Durutti Column

The Durutti Column is the Manchester project led by guitarist Vini Reilly, formed in 1978 and closely associated with Factory Records. Known for atmospheric, largely instrumental pieces that blend post‑punk, ambient and new wave textures, the project’s acclaimed albums include LC (1981) and The Return of the Durutti Column (1980).
