Falco

Falco (Johann “Hans” Hölzel) was an Austrian singer-songwriter and a leading figure of the Neue Deutsche Welle. He achieved worldwide fame with Rock Me Amadeus—the only German-language song to top the US Billboard Hot 100—and scored major hits with Der Kommissar and Jeanny. He died in a car accident in the Dominican Republic in 1998.
