Difficult, challenging is my musical relationship with Michael Gira's band; and this has been the case since the early nineties. I've never managed to get beyond a brief and unfruitful youthful listen, ultimately leaving the group in a sort of oblivion; there is nothing to dispute regarding their importance and sonic grandeur.
