Richard Wagner

The Nibelungenring tetralogy is something incredible. A precursor to epic and Nordic symphonies. The Rhinegold (the first part of the tetralogy) was performed for the first time at the La Fenice theater in Venice. Chills at just the thought!

Richard Wagner

Richard Wagner (1813–1883) was a German composer, theatre director, and conductor of the Romantic era, renowned for his operas and music dramas, extensive use of leitmotifs, and the concept of Gesamtkunstwerk. He established the Bayreuth Festival to present his works.
