The Who

Much less known and celebrated than other equally important rock bands (Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple), The Who remain one of the grandest formations in the history of rock. Led by the genius of the great Pete Townshend, they have produced a series of masterpieces that, in terms of lyrics and music, should be considered the paradigm of Rock, both among studio albums and among the phenomenal live performances. And I'm not just talking about the C.S.I. theme songs.
