Matteo Renzi

The mere fact that someone like him, with this somewhat peculiar face, with these somewhat peculiar expressions, with a somewhat peculiar story, a friend of friends who are also somewhat peculiar, has been imposed as prime minister, and the fact that his "opponent" is a (former) comedian (evidently Italians still want to laugh, 20 years of another well-known comedian of short stature were not enough) shows how damn messed up we are in this country.
