Isis

Isis was an American band formed in Boston, Massachusetts, widely associated with post-metal and known for long, dynamic compositions that move from crushing heaviness to expansive atmosphere. The group was led by Aaron Turner and released influential albums including Oceanic and Panopticon before disbanding in 2010.
