Blind Illusion

An unknown group to most that debuted in 1988 with the album "The Sane Asylum," merging a sound clearly rooted in Thrash Metal with well-crafted Progressive influences; the lineup featured a certain Les Claypool on bass, already unmistakable, and Larry Lalonde on guitar.

Blind Illusion

Bay Area progressive-thrash band formed in 1978. Best known for the 1988 Combat Records album The Sane Asylum. Early lineup for that record included Mark Beidermann, Les Claypool, Larry LaLonde and Mike Miner.
