Gabriel Garcìa Màrquez

Gabriel García Márquez (1927–2014) was a Colombian novelist, short story writer, and journalist, a central figure of the Latin American Boom and a leading voice of magical realism. He received the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1982 and authored classics including Cien años de soledad and El amor en los tiempos del cólera.
