Thin White Rope

Thin White Rope were an American rock band formed in 1984 in Davis, California, built around Guy Kyser (vocals/guitar) and Roger Kunkel (guitar). Reviewers describe their sound as a dark, dusty hybrid of country roots, psychedelia, and punk/new-wave edges, often grouped under “desert rock,” and highlight extensive touring and a celebrated final live document recorded in Ghent in 1992.
