DNA

DNA were an American No Wave trio formed in New York City in 1978 by Arto Lindsay, Ikue Mori, and initially Robin Crutchfield (later replaced by Tim Wright). Known for abrasive guitar textures, fractured rhythms, and atonal vocals, they appeared on Brian Eno’s No New York, released the EP A Taste of DNA on Rough Trade, and disbanded in 1982. Archival sets include Last Live at CBGB's and DNA on DNA.
