The Church

Among the best exponents of that psychedelic rock revival that sprang up in the mid-eighties. The Australians reach their compositional zenith with the album "Starfish" in 1988, doing so by incorporating into their already excellent music that light yet distinctly recognizable pop touch: tracks like "Antenna" and "Reptile" demonstrate my argument.......and I haven't mentioned that song, their song.

The Church are an Australian rock band formed in 1980, widely associated with dreamy, psychedelic and jangle-leaning alternative rock. They are best known for the song “Under the Milky Way” and for albums such as Starfish.
