"Person Pitch" was truly a great record, like taking the best of Brian Wilson (that was "Smile") and tearing it apart and reassembling it in a sea of loops, electronic beats, samples, and whatever else you can think of. Just like his parent group, Animal Collective, who have great albums [notably the ethno-folk-psych delirium of "Sung Tongs," an album of celestial beauty for me] but also abominable crap [the overhyped "Merriweather Post Pavilion," a half-baked mess in my opinion].
