Great comedian in his youth. Really good sketches, he is excellent at portraying various types of characters. Then he started making films, many films. Actor, director. Some remarkable (Compagni di scuola, Borotalco), others so-so. But still good, what can you say, especially when compared to the other undignified comedians/actors in today's Italian scene?
