Tyler, the Creator

Dark matter. What remains of odd future deserves a lot. A new way of doing rap? Maybe. But as a connoisseur of music in 360 degrees, I can't help but find Tyler's works beautiful, excellently produced, and original. But also definitely clever. The kind where, while you notice this and that on his album, Tyler is busy screwing your sister.

Tyler, the Creator

Tyler, the Creator (born Tyler Gregory Okonma, March 6, 1991) is an American rapper, producer, and designer from Ladera Heights, California. A co‑founder of Odd Future, he evolved from the abrasive, shock-rap of his early records to a lush, soul-inflected sound on Flower Boy and IGOR. He has won Grammy Awards for Best Rap Album with IGOR (2020) and Call Me If You Get Lost (2022).
