The perfect drummer for Sonic Youth's music, a great one. And then I'm happy that he showed up from "Evol" so Bob Bert went on to smash cymbals and drums in Pussy Galore and everyone benefited from it.

Steve Shelley

Steve Shelley is an American drummer best known as a longtime member of Sonic Youth. He joined Sonic Youth in the mid-1980s and founded the label Smells Like Records.
