The Sea and Cake

The Sea and Cake are a Chicago band formed in 1993, known for blending indie rock and post-rock with jazz-influenced pop. Core members include Sam Prekop, Archer Prewitt, Eric Claridge, and John McEntire. Many releases appear on Thrill Jockey, including the 1994 debut and The Fawn (1997).
