Carlo Vanzina

I don't know if it was him (it was probably his brother), but he publicly criticized Neri Parenti for having degenerated the themes of their first "Vacanze di Natale '83," with the various cinepanettoni of the last 30 years. I agree with him/them. Too bad that that mediocre film, leaning towards the terrible, was the peak of a mountain of dung.

Carlo Vanzina

Carlo Vanzina (1951–2018) was an Italian film director and screenwriter, son of director Steno and frequent collaborator with his brother Enrico. Active from 1976 to 2018, he became a key figure of Italian mainstream comedy with hits like Sapore di mare (1983), Vacanze di Natale (1983) and Eccezzziunale veramente (1982).
