a band different in their genre... they certainly don't lack ferocity and power, but they add a (musical) motif that is anything but obvious and absolutely distinct from other bands in the extreme metal field... they are among the most "extreme" in the genre...

Fuck the Facts

Fuck the Facts is a Canadian grindcore band formed in 1998 by guitarist Topon Das in Ottawa. Evolving from a solo project into a full lineup with vocalist Mélanie Mongeon, the group is known for a self-described ‘bastardized grindcore’ that folds in noise, death metal, crust, post-hardcore, and experimental elements. Key releases include Stigmata High-Five (2006) and Disgorge Mexico (2008) on Relapse, plus later albums on their Noise Salvation imprint.
