The Clash

My Olympus has about ten spots... and surely one of them has to be the Clash! Sandinista for life, and it's not the music of my adolescence; I listened to it much later. So I have no emotional ties... just infinite love for them, Joe above all, of course. I've listened to everything even after the Clash... well, they didn't produce a lot, but what they did was great! First Choice Rock.

The Clash

English punk rock band formed in London in 1976. Core lineup included Joe Strummer, Mick Jones, Paul Simonon and Topper Headon. Influential for blending punk with reggae, rockabilly, funk and early rap; disbanded mid-1980s.
