among the greatest Italian directors and beyond, in my opinion. author of an impressive series of masterpieces: "C'eravamo tanto amati" and "La terrazza" above all, iconic films depicting the decline and failure of the left and the Italian leftist man. also magnificent are "Una giornata particolare" and "Brutti, sporchi e cattivi." I can't wait for the 12th to see his film about Fellini.
