Melodic punk, country, blues, rock & roll, all mixed with the power and heart of those who know what it means to "run" in life as in music. The only band, along with the Ramones, that has ever moved me. Mike Ness and Dennis Dannell (RIP) the ultimate guitar duo: impossible to describe, it’s not even music anymore. It’s friendship and a life built on it.

Social Distortion are an American punk rock band from Orange County, California, formed in 1978 and led by singer and songwriter Mike Ness. Their sound is widely associated with melodic punk shaped by rock ’n’ roll, country, and blues influences.
