Invaluable like Totò and Sordi, it will be part of the stories that the elderly tell to the younger ones around the fire... unjustly mythologized, fortunately only in a part of Italy... lucky local phenomena.

Mario Merola

Mario Merola (6 April 1934 – 12 November 2006) was an Italian singer and actor, widely associated with the Neapolitan 'sceneggiata' tradition. He recorded many Neapolitan songs and starred in several melodramatic films.
