Z_Z_Z_Z_ZOMBIE! "Night of the Living Dead" and "Dawn of the Dead" are two great films; other works might be more for fans, his and the dumb and friendly zombies in history. Like yours truly (a fan, maybe dumb, but not a living dead though).

George A. Romero (1940–2017) was an American-Canadian filmmaker, pioneer of modern zombie cinema. His independent classic Night of the Living Dead reshaped horror, followed by socially charged sequels and genre-challenging works like Martin.
