It's a real shame that this Sub Pop band broke up in the early months of 1991... With 1 album, 1 EP, and a handful of singles and various bootlegs, they were "shot" straight into the mythology of independent music.

American rock band formed in the late 1980s, fronted by Kurt Cobain with Krist Novoselic and later Dave Grohl. Broke into the mainstream with Nevermind (1991) and released In Utero (1993); Cobain died in 1994.
