Pussy Galore

Extraordinary. The Stones' Rock'n'Roll and the grimiest, most primordial Blues immersed in a sea of Noise, distortions, cacophonies, vulgarity, provocations, blind fury. Right Now! remains up there, their manifesto, the most extreme, in my opinion one of the greatest albums of the '80s. Everything else is still on another level. At the time, Spencer seemed more animal than man, and together with Cafritz, Hagerty (R.Trux, does that say anything to you?) and Bob Bert (former Sonic Youth) formed a fabulous group.

Pussy Galore

Pussy Galore is an American noise rock/garage punk band formed in 1985, initially in Washington, D.C., later based in New York City. The lineup included Jon Spencer, Julie Cafritz, Neil Hagerty, and Bob Bert, and the group disbanded in 1990.
