Vasco has been one of the most brilliant singer-songwriters in the Italian, and even European, music scene. Unfortunately, the last song (l'uomo più semplice) confirms the progressive decline already perceived with the very latest works. "L'uomo di primavera" is over 60 years old and is in a desperate search for the Vasco that once was. Anachronistic lyrics, with cliché rhymes and anonymous music featuring a bass line that seems to seek energy... the kind of energy the author needs to get back on track, I believe... no. The genius is no longer there...

Vasco Rossi

Vasco Rossi (born 1952) is an Italian singer-songwriter from Zocca, active since the late 1970s and widely known for pioneering a raw rock voice in Italian popular music and for massive stadium tours. He is commonly nicknamed "Blasco."
