Jefferson Airplane

I love them!!!
So many great songs, great albums, the unique voices of Grace Slick and Martin Balin, Jorma Kaukonen, an extraordinary guitarist who is unfortunately too underrated. "Volunteers" for me is their highest peak with "Surrealistic Pillow" following closely behind, even though it’s really pointless to rank them since from 2nd to 4th they are all masterpieces. It's a shame about some transitional episodes after the golden period.

Jefferson Airplane

Jefferson Airplane formed in San Francisco in 1965 and became a leading band of the city’s psychedelic scene. With key members Grace Slick, Marty Balin, Paul Kantner, Jorma Kaukonen, Jack Casady, and Spencer Dryden, they scored major hits and helped define late-60s rock. They appeared at Monterey Pop (1967) and Woodstock (1969) and reunited in 1989.
