Irving Stone

Irving Stone (1903–1989) was an American author known for meticulously researched biographical novels about artists, scientists, and political figures. His best-known books include Lust for Life (Van Gogh) and The Agony and the Ecstasy (Michelangelo), alongside Depths of Glory, The Passions of the Mind, and The Origin.
