Metallica

Saying things like "merde, seghe, scarsi" means you've never really listened to at least their best songs; it's pointless to discuss their importance. Many metal musicians from established bands that emerged after them cite them as their ultimate source of inspiration, on par with Black Sabbath and Judas Priest. Coincidence? As for the rest, the first four are great albums, the Black Album is also very good, but after that the quality tends to dip. However, their great records remain, and they are always excellent live. Five for life.
