Certainly indispensable in the Italian music scene; he has had some lapses in style, but the peaks he has reached and the variety and refinement of his compositions are such that they erase any blemish from his career.
He has managed to innovate and renew himself over time while maintaining a distinctive and always recognizable stylistic signature. Some of his lyrics will forever remain in the Olympus of hermeticism... A GREAT ABSOLUTE!!!
