Dr. Dre (Andre Romelle Young) is an American rapper, record producer, and entrepreneur. A founding member of N.W.A and a co‑founder of Death Row Records, he helped define West Coast hip hop and G‑funk with landmark releases including The Chronic (1992) and 2001 (1999), later returning with Compton (2015).
