Vincenzo Bellini

One of the greatest, sublime, and prolific "melodic" geniuses to have ever existed, on par with Mozart and Schubert. He died prematurely at the age of just 34, and this artist composed works such as Norma, Puritani, and Sonnambula. Unfortunately, nowadays his great masterpieces are rarely performed.
