Gioachino Rossini

The greatest Italian opera composer, capable of composing 39 operas in twenty years. A precocious genius, he writes his first opera at the age of 14. He completes his operatic career at just 36 years old, with the supreme masterpiece Guglielmo Tell. Il Barbiere di Siviglia, L'Italiana in Algeri, La Cenerentola, Semiramide, La Gazza Ladra, Il Mosè in Egitto, Tancredi, La donna del lago, Il viaggio a Reims, and Il Turco in Italia are his other magnificent masterpieces.
