Blancmange

extremely underrated: "Happy Families" is an excellent example of bright synth-pop/new wave without any cheesy deviations, the reunion album "Blanc Burn" (2011) is truly stuff for refined tastes, and not everyone would have been able to cover a masterpiece by ABBA like "The Day Before You Came" with such class. Unfortunately, Wham! and Duran Duran were more easily marketable to the ignorant masses.
