Good for them even though... THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY NOT COMMUNISTS. They started with a socialistic rebellion before embracing the completely justified anti-imperialist and anti-American cause of the Sandinista Front, which, however, had one significant flaw: IT WAS NOT MARXIST-LENINIST. Better The Stalin in punk, although you can still listen to the Clash today more than ever.

The Clash

English punk rock band formed in London in 1976. Core lineup included Joe Strummer, Mick Jones, Paul Simonon and Topper Headon. Influential for blending punk with reggae, rockabilly, funk and early rap; disbanded mid-1980s.
