Jimmy Eat World

Clarity is a GREAT emo album, even though it's true that it was already leaning towards pop tout-court compared to previous works; every song is a potential hit. The recent works embrace mainstream productions, but without compromising their integrity and always with class, yet inevitably they fall short compared to Clarity. Underrated by many for an unspecified reason (it's not that they're that famous; people might know just one of their songs in total, and not even from the early productions...)

Jimmy Eat World are an American rock band from Mesa, Arizona, formed in 1993. Lauded for the emo touchstone Clarity and propelled to mainstream success with Bleed American and the hit single The Middle, the band evolved toward alternative and indie rock on releases like Futures and Integrity Blues.
