Robert Sylvester Kelly (known as R. Kelly) is an American R&B singer, songwriter and record producer from Chicago, Illinois, born January 8, 1967. He rose to prominence in the early 1990s and is known for hits such as 'I Believe I Can Fly' and 'Ignition'.
