Emeli Sandé

Emeli Sandé (born 1987) is a Scottish singer-songwriter who rose to prominence with the 2012 album Our Version of Events. She studied medicine at the University of Glasgow and left during her fourth year to pursue music. She is known for songwriting, soulful vocals and collaborations with artists such as Naughty Boy and Alicia Keys.
