Massimo Troisi

A great man. How much we miss someone like him in Italian cinema. Neapolitan pride. "Ricomincio da Tre," "Non ci resta che piangere," and his dramatic performance in "Il Postino" secure his place in history. We miss you, Massimo. Especially for those like me who are forced to watch their Naples in the hands of mediocre television comedians who turn it into a caricature.

Massimo Troisi

Massimo Troisi (1953–1994) was an Italian actor, comedian, screenwriter, and film director from the Naples area. He emerged with the trio La Smorfia, then wrote, directed, and starred in films including Ricomincio da tre and Scusate il ritardo, and later starred in Il Postino.
