The first seasons were fantastic... I mean those in Las Vegas... themes that had become worn out reimagined in a fresh and innovative way... Grissom and Brown were well-developed characters... unfortunately, the spin-offs (NY and Miami) made it boring, exhausting, and devoid of inspiration... let alone those (crappy) knockoffs like NCIS and similar shows... 4 for repetitiveness.
