He died on June 28, 1993, in New York from a heroin and alcohol overdose. At the request of his brother, his body was not washed, and his funeral turned into a wild party, with friends taking photos with the corpse and putting drugs and whiskey in its mouth. The video of his funeral is available on the DVD Hated (WIKI). What a shitshow!!

GG Allin

GG Allin was an American punk singer known for ultra-violent, transgressive performances and raw, lo‑fi hardcore. Active from the late 1970s until his death in 1993, he fronted various bands (including the Murder Junkies) and worked with figures from the U.S. underground. His discography spans abrasive punk to country detours, and his legacy is defined as much by scandalous shows as by recordings.
