Innovative as a character, and also highly skilled at shifting from one genre to another (not always with excellent results), up to The Golden Age of Grotesque he is great, but he declines in the last two albums. Too extreme as a character both for his fans who elevate him and for his detractors who consider him a mere commercial operation: Marilyn Manson is a great artist in decline who has made the most of his character even from a media perspective.
