China, you know I care about you and I’m not trolling you, but calling Samuele Bersani crap as a representative of recent Italian singer-songwriters is like calling Siffredi gay. That’s a whole different kind of crap. Bersani is light years ahead of many pseudo-colleagues. I believe that "L'aldiqua" is one of the peaks of "youthful" Italian songwriting in the past 10 years.

Italian singer-songwriter from Cattolica (Rimini), active since 1991. Discovered and supported by Lucio Dalla, he’s known for narrative-rich pop songs like Giudizi universali, Chicco e Spillo, Spaccacuore and albums including Freak, L’oroscopo speciale, Caramella smog and Cinema Samuele. At Sanremo 2012 he presented Un pallone, earning the critics’ prize.
