Joe R. Lansdale

No writer has ever managed to captivate me like this. I read 13 of his novels in 5 months. And each one left me with something unforgettable. The way he moves from adventure to crime, from western to horror to splatter is incredible. They should make films from his books.

Joe R. Lansdale is an American author from Texas, active since the early 1980s, known for the Hap & Leonard series and the Drive-In trilogy. He has received multiple Bram Stoker Awards and the Edgar Award for The Bottoms; Hap & Leonard inspired a TV series.
