Amy Winehouse

Guys, I listen to Rock and Blues (Janis Joplin, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Jefferson Airplane... well, you get it) and I don't mind Amy Winehouse at all. Back to Black is an extraordinary album and she had a beautiful voice. In my opinion, we shouldn't judge a person by the life they led; this is about music, and her music was really beautiful. So stop saying things like "How nice! She's dead!", you're not funny at all.

English singer‑songwriter from London known for a deep contralto and a blend of soul, R&B and jazz. Broke through with Frank (2003) and the globally successful Back to Black (2006). Won five Grammy Awards in 2008, including Record and Song of the Year for Rehab. Died in 2011.
