Fates Warning

Defining them as prog-metal in the strictest sense seems excessive to me; in any case, they are a band to be appreciated for their continuous evolution and their desire to give metal new energy and greater structural complexity... But Dream Theater are on another planet, there’s no denying it. I still hope to hear a new album from them soon.
