An excellent band even though masterpieces can't be pinpointed in their discography. Very popular more for their Californian lifestyle imagery than for the music, but enviable for their rhythmic structures. Frusciante is an absolute genius; in fact, his tenures align with the band's best periods. With him in the lineup, they would have made a further and constant leap towards musical innovation; instead, they preferred to stay within their standard. 4 with Frusciante, 6!
